I managed to score a last minute reservation for Be Our Guest last night. I was ecstatic. It was the only thing I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to do while here on the program. I spent 15 hours at Magic Kingdom yesterday meeting characters and doing some rides as a way to celebrate my birthday. All the while waiting desperately for tea at Beast's Castle. I decided to not eat anything all day (although I did end up getting a Dole Whip float for lunch) just so I would be able to savour my entire meal.
The Castle looks incredible, and the theming both inside and out were amazing! They thought very long and hard on how to do a very good job (as opposed to Cinderella's Royal Table)

The red rose is very prominent throughout the the whole castle. On the crest, stain glassed window, napkins and even the menu!

The prices really didn't seem too bad to me - compared to some of the places I've eaten at so far
We both chose the Pork Chop. It was heavenly. Not over done at all, and the macaroni au gratin was the most amazing thing ever. I also really liked the fact that you can order soy milk
And yes, I did demolish everything on my plate. It took an hour but I ate it all!
Because we were celebrating my birthday we go to try 'The Grey Stuff' and it was delish (don't believe us, ask the dishes!). Although we couldn't quite figure out what exactly it was. It was most definitely a mousse of some sort. Quite vanillary. We also shared on of their desserts - a passion fruit puff!
After dinner you get to meet the Beast in his sitting room. He really is adorable looking!
