On Sunday, my folks came up to Brisbane so we could all hang out and celebrate my mum's birthday. We ended up going to the Eagle Farm markets and it just so happened that they were hosting the RACQ Motorfest that day! They had amazing old cars, hotted up cars and classic American cars. There were carnival rides, photo booths, face painting and even a petting zoo!

After we had seen everything at the markets and the motorfest we went on over to the Eat Street Markets to wander around and have some lunch. And I scored these beautiful daffodils from a stall owner for free! My apartment smells wonderful now because of them

It was a really fun day - although awfully cold because of the antarctic vortex that is currently making its way around Australia. I won't be able to see my family for another two weeks due to my surgery next week! But when I do see them next it will be for my birthday celebrations!!
