SQUIRREL

I had my first lost child experience. A lady came up to me and handed me a little boy claiming he wasn't her's! I asked if he was looking for his mum and he shook his head. Next second another lady comes crying that she couldn't find her son! I handed the little boy back to his mother and all was good again. Crisis averted - I feel like that was handled much easier than it should have. 

My absolute new favourite food to not only cook but eat is Naan Pizza! Super quick and super tasty

 I can't believe I've been at Patterson Court for almost a whole week now. It's so quick, and so nice and new and semi clean. My new room mates are wicked awesome (I still have Australian's and New Zealander's so all is good). I know I've been in America for over one and a half months now, but I still get super excited whenever I see a squirrel

I've been impressing everyone at work with my cooking and baking skills. Apparently American's don't know how to cook! They seem to think everything comes in microwavable plastic cups. Gross

Surprise!

I finally had my first home cooked meal tonight, some of my room mates and I went to Whole Food Market and got proper meat and vegetables, well worth the cost!

 It has been freezing cold here this week, around 30F, so 0-1 degrees in Celsius and of course I didn't bring warm gear with me so I have been freezing my ass off every time I go outside. I literally spent all day inside the apartment watching youtube videos with the heater on so I could keep warmish 

Jarrod surprised me on Valentines Day with a dozen red roses in a vase and the most adorable card! Even from the other side of the world he still manages to make me feel like the luckiest, happiest girl in the world! 

What a nightmare

So we are now residents of Patterson Court!

We were moved urgently out of Vista into a 3 bedroom apartment at PC and we have amazing new room mates. I still have Taisha as my roomie so this makes me super happy!

I tried Taco Bell for the first time tonight and it was amazing.

I am sick of really mean guests.

Yes, this is a shitty update. It's been a shitty couple of days. Deal with it.

Celeb spotting

Yesterday word went around to all locations that Honey Boo Boo (from the show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo) was at Hollywood Studios. None of us at Muppets really thought that much of it. Then an hour later I was out the front greeting guests as they entered and BAM there is Honey Boo Boo and her family just chilling at the Muppet fountain! They look just as repulsive as they do on television. Thankfully they didn't come to Muppet Vision. 

Tomorrow is something called Fat Tuesday (I think it is to do with Mardi Gras?) so work is having a party and I plan to go in and try things thing called King Cake because everyone keeps going on about it. I also plan to bring in more ANZAC biscuits as everyone has been begging me to make them again. I also have plans to go over to a friends for Taco Tuesday :) 

A surprise was meant to come today from Jarrod but it never arrived, maybe it will come tomorrow? Fingers crossed anyway. 

Tonight my room mate and I are off to explore Crossroads and find somewhere awesome to eat! 

It's finally my Friday, well technically it is Sunday but I have the next two days off!

This week has seemed to just drag on and on. And an influx of incredibly rude guests didn't help at all. Quite a few of us were dreading work yesterday as the cheerleading competition was being held at Hollywood Studios, but they weren't as bad as we expected them to be, they were much nicer than the dancers we had last week. 

I'm still struggling to get use to the food over here, but it has only been a month, I'll get use to it over time. It is crazy to think that north of here are suffering really bad snow storms and Orlando is just chilling and being all nice. Weird. 

I just found out we get free entry to the waterparks until February 25 so I plan to take advantage of that! The perks of being a cast member really are awesome :)

Thursday night my room mate and I went to Santa Fe Cattle Co for tea, the atmosphere was great and the food was incredible, plus they give us discount there! I will be going back for sure!!

Anyway, I'm off to work! Thankfully it is only 6 and a half hours today as apposed to the 9-10 hour shifts I have been doing.

Today I finally saw the parks. I did Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom.

 I did a heap of rides and spent the whole time being overly excited! I had a blast. After we did the parks we headed to CrossRoads to go to Olive Garden for tea. Holy Hell, that place is incredible!! 

Tomorrow I plan to check out Cast Connections (a discounted Disney store) and we are all going to IHOP to take advantage of Free Pancake Day!

Late Nights

I went to Citywalk the other night for tea and it was amazing!

The place was called Pastamore Ristorante & Market - service was okay and it was reasonably priced so I can't complain.

These late nights and long hours are starting to get to me, today I slept through both of my alarms and had to frantically dash to the bus without showering. Hopefully I will get into a routine soon.

I made some ANZAC biscuits for the guys at work as they are all excited to try Australian food, I plan to take them in tomorrow so fingers crossed they like them!
