I've just been to the post office today to pick up my passport with my visa! The trip to Sydney was amazing, I couldn't believe all the fun stuff we got to do! Only problem was a crappy hotel :(
It was my first time flying, and although I was slightly panicky about the take off and landing, I would have to say I did very well.
Was pretty awesome when we flew over Sydney, seeing the bridge and Opera house for the very first time was very special.
On my way to the visa interview, I was lucky enough to meet Melissa Doyle!
I'm now down to 39 days :) I can't wait!
Change of plans with my Sydney trip!
Jarrod and I are now flying to Sydney on Thursday 22nd of November and staying in the CBD. Then on the Friday we will go to my visa interview and explore before flying home late that night.
Pretty darn excited to go to Sydney with him, and as an added bonus he will be taking me on my first plane trip like he has wanted to do for ages.
It's exactly a month till my interview, and I am starting to get very nervous!
Visa interview has been booked for the 23rd of November!
Now, I need to find a hotel that isn't a billion dollars a night to stay in in Sydney and flights.
I plan to check out the Powerhouse Museum and Luna Park while I'm there!
My visa information package finally arrived today!
I am now incredibly broke from paying all the different costs associated with obtaining the silly thing! Oh well, next up is my weekend to Sydney with my Mum. Looking forward to that, a little getaway will do me good.
It took forever to get all the paperwork completed, without stuffing up. And had a 20 minute panic attack when I thought I had lost my visa! Luckily I had just misplaced it in my suitcase. Stupid Sasha.
This also means I am super close to starting my amazing adventure with Disney. It still feels so surreal.
Woke up this morning to an email from Disney saying my check in date has moved from the 9th to the 8th!
This means I now have to cancel my accommodation at Disney's All Stars Movies Resort :( luckily, I get a full refund on my money otherwise I would be much much angrier.
It is also a good thing that I land in Orland at 6pm on the 8th, it would cost me an extra $1,000 just to change my airfare.
Needless to say, I am pretty darn mad at Disney for changing the date but what can you do?
Yesterday Mama and Daddy came up and we went to UQ as Jeni was holding a pre-departure meet up with those of us from Brisbane.
So many of my questions were answered, my parents have been reassured that everything will be fine and I am more excited than ever!!!
I also received my medical insurance email, unfortunately the company doesn't honour pre-existing conditions like my asthma :( So now I have to find a way to get my medical insurance with my asthma!
I have finally decided on my Halloween costume :D I'll be going as Snow White to our party and trick or treating while Jarrod will be a Perseus from Clash of the Titans
Fingers crossed that my VISA paperwork arrives soon and I'll be off to America before I know it!
I've booked and payed for my hotel in Orlando!
I'll be staying at the Disney All-Star Movies Resort
I am hoping to stay in the Toy Story theme area!
There is only 128 days till I leave for Orlando.

I finally bought my dress for Traditions today!
That leaves one less thing to stress about in the long run.
This is my very first post and I have no idea what to say! Hmm, how about I start at the very beginning, that's a very good place to start (hehe I adore the Sound of Music)
I've been accepted to work at Walt Disney World, starting on the 9th of January 2013!
I'll be there for a whole year! The first 6 months I will be in Quick Service Food and Beverage whilst the last 6 will be on Attractions/Operations!
So far, my passport has been bought, my background check has been done, my student status form has been done and I've bought my flights to Orlando. It will be my very first international flight and I am already quite nervous about it!
All that is left is to wait for my VISA and to get insurance and that's it!
There are only 136 days left till I start working!
